About the Course

Course Description:

IndG.A.P covers all agricultural and horticulture crops and is structured in a manner to address the small and marginal farmers.

Certificate Option:

·         Option 2:  A Producer Group (Farmer Group) with several individual producers ( farmer ) members applies for group certification and will be certificate holder with a list of producer members attached to the certificate

The course is based on a Modules basis.

1      All Farm Base

2.   Crops Base

3.     Combinable Crops  Base

4.    Biodiversity Module (This applies only when the farm holding of individual producer exceeds 2.5 Ha

          .

               The clauses in each module is classified as Major, Minor and Recommendations. To get the certificate, all the Major clauses and 95% of the applicable minor non conformances have to be complied, Recommendations are optional. 

The trainee is advised to view the online course, under Option 1 Individual producer  for the modules “All farm, Crops base and Combinable crops modules”

All the individual producer members of the Producer Group must implement and comply with the modules under the direction of the Producer Group before inspection and issue of certificate by the accredited certification body

Additionally Producer Group has to implement Quality Management System Requirements as documented under Section
